    SME’s Enterprise Resource Planning Implementation, Competitive Advantage, and Marketing Performance

    Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an integrated application software for widespread use in the organization. The aim of this study is to determine factors that affect the successful implementation of ERP in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Central Java in order to build competitive ad-vantage and increase marketing performance. To test the 9 hypothesis, this study utilized data from 107 SMEs in Central Java. The results revealed that variable hardware and software selection have the greatest influence toward the successful implementation in Small and Medium Enterprises. It is suggested that SMEs should gain knowledge and solidify its business process reengineering before implementing ERP. Research paper Reference to this paper should be made as follows: Raharjo, S.     The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of product quality, price perception, promotion, and customer’s satisfication towards repurchasing in CV. Mebel Mitras Jepara. The writer uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method in the analysis. In this study, there are two analyze techniques which are Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Regression Weight. The numbers of sample used in this study is 100 respondents. Based on the hypothesis summary, this study shows that product quality, price perception, promotion, and customer’s satisfication positively and significantly affect customer’s decision in repurchasing goods

    ABSTRACT This study aims to explain the effect of market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, learning orientation, corporate innovation that will result in improved company performance in the context of SME furniture in the city of Jepara. The population in this study were MSME furniture business owners in the scope of exports by distributing questionnaires to MSME furniture owners in Jepara City in 201 questionnaires. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used in this study uses Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) software. SME business actors must implement innovation as one of their strategies to attract consumers to buy Jepara furniture products so that they can maintain the market share of Jepara wood furniture. MSMEs in Jepara City will experience a significant increase in company performance and will provide more benefits to customers so far, both those who are regular customers and those who will become new customers. The perceived benefits can trigger customer satisfaction. Thus, satisfied customers will have the intention to repurchase and the intention to recommend this company.     The background of this research was based on the phenomenon in SMEs business. As one of the Indonesian business entities, SMEs plays a significant role during the 1998 economic crisis. The same contribution was also played by SMEs in the East Asian and European countries. Despite its contribution to the economy, many challenges have to be faced by SMEs, creating the needs for intensive research in SMEs. Adaptability and human resource excellence are among many factors that need to be given attention in relation to the change in the SMEs' business environment. The sample of this study was 200 non-agricultural SMEs in Central Java, analyzed with the structural equation modeling technique to prove the proposed hypothesis: that adaptability and human resource excellence will affect the process performance, and process performance will affect to the product quality. The result shows that adaptability and human resource excellence have a positive and significant effect toward process performance. Furthermore, process performance also has a positive and significant effect toward product quality. The more important aspect that needs to be given attention, however, is the higher effect of adaptability compared to the human resource excellence.     This research has a purpose that collaboration of supplier – buyer beside giving positive influence for two side and requiring a several condition so the work can make profit for supplier and buyer. Because of it the main problem in this research are determine the factor of success key for supplier – buyer and performance from success key look by the vision of supplier that in this case is small enterprise whose been the supplier for large enterprise that export oriented. Research done with sample about 100 small enterprise in Jepara. But because of the validity requirement, the amount of data that valid are 97 sample. Sampling method used is purposive sampling, with main consideration is furniture small enterprise that supply for export. Analysis method is done by approach Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Coordination success key in this analysis are (1) Credibility (2) Leader support (3) Ability to fulfill the hope for performance, (4) Clear purpose and (5) Partner compatibility. Result of this research is indicator with the lowest satisfactory level 87,10% which is indicator to commitment to fulfill the promises. Meaning high hope for supplier with this indicator perceived has the lowest performance for buyer. Indicator with highest satisfactory level 98,89 % that showed hope of supplier almost same with buyer performance which is to support daily operational activity indicator. And the average of all indicator satisfactory is 91.37 %. Indicators that exist in A quadrant are always keep promises and for all side need to evaluate performance. Indicators that exist in B quadrant are honesty, able to keep secret, purpose determined by both sides, this cooperation suit with the long term purpose, compatible in work effort, compatible in improving cooperation. Indicators in C quadrant are open minded, daily operational activity support, written cooperation performance, result of cooperation formed together, this cooperation suit with hope of both sides, compatible in developing the corporation. Indicator in D quadrant are high morale and this cooperation suit with corporation’s daily operational activity

    ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the impact or influence of some aspects of intellectual capital. This study focused on the effect of human capital and social capital to the organization performance. The study focused on the direct influence of human capital and social capital on performance and also through mediating variables which consist of innovation and organizational commitment to the technical service units (UPT) in the City Government Semarang. This study used questionnaires that were distribute the head office of the technical service Unit and the head of the Sub Administration Division of the UPT in the government of Semarang. After data being collected, it then being analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). This study found Human Capital did not significantly influence the organizational performance, but through mediation of innovation and commitment, Human Capital organization has a positive and significant influence on organization performance. Social Capital variables have a positive and significant influence on organizational performance either directly or through mediating variables, innovation and organizational commitment.     Family companies are companies where the majority of owners are family, where the applicable provisions are produced by part of the organization that is emotionally bound. In the period 2015-2018 PT. Alamanda, which is an export company for commodity X, experienced a decline in production performance. In this case the researcher wants to know things that affect production performance so that the company experiences a decline in the number of exports of commodity X. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach by analyzing actual events in the company with the subject being each individual who is related to the course of the business. from downstream to upstream. Collecting data using in-depth interviews conducted directly or online to participants and supported by direct observations in the company environment. The results of the study show that in addition to technical and non-technical factors, the decline in PT Alamanda's production performance is influenced by purchasing decisions that are not fast in the field. Competition is a very natural thing to happen, but anticipation in competition and changes in strategy need to be done quickly. Innovation in the commodity supply chain system is also very influential in controlling the purchase price in order to minimize the auction price of commodity X

    Pelayanan yang prima sangat dibutuhkan dalam memenuhi kepuasan pelanggan untuk sebuah perusahaan mencapai World Class Services, dan kecepatan pelayanan menjadi target utama dalam pencapaian kepuasan pelanggan di PT PLN (Persero). Untuk mewujudkannya maka PT PLN (Persero) melakukan restrukturisasi melalui Program Debirokratisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kondisi perusahaan sebelum dan setelah dilakukan restrukturisasi terhadap kinerja perusahaan, kepuasan karyawan, dan kepuasan pelanggan dengan melihat perbedaan pada 2 (dua) area yang belum dan sudah direstrukturisasi, atas dasar ini diajukan model teoritis dan 3 hipotesis untuk diuji beda dengan uji-t tidak berpasangan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 57 karyawan dan 103 pelanggan pada PT. PLN (Persero) Area Magelang dan UL Salatiga. Hasil dari analisis memiliki nilai t-hitung kinerja perusahaan -0,91 (t-tabel 1,99), kepuasan karyawan 7,76 (t-tabel 2,00) , dan kepuasan pelanggan 4,11 (t-tabel 1,98) yang menunjukkan bahwa restrukturisasi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, sedangkan terhadap kepuasan karyawan dan kepuasan pelanggan restrukturisasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifika

    ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI ALIRAN INVESTASI ASING DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA TAHUN 2004-2015

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menginvestigasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi aliran investasi asing ke pasar saham Indonesia yang mencakup faktor return dan risiko yang berasal dari pasar luar negeri/ global (push factor) dan dari pasar dalam negeri/ domestic (pull factor). Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model analisis Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH) dan Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH) karena pada data keuangan seperti aliran investasi asing di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang berfluktuasi dengan cepat sehingga terjadi heteroscedasticity. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengajukan enam model estimasi yaitu ARCH, GARCH, ARCH-M (2,1), ARCH-M (2,2), TARCH, dan EGARCH. Dengan menggunakan signifikansi parameter estimasi, goodness of fit model, Uji Akaike’s Information Criterion, Schwarz’s Criterion, Uji Keacakan Residual, dan Uji Efek ARCH, ditemukan model terbaik untuk menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi aliran investasi asing di Bursa Efek Indonesia yaitu model estimasi EGARCH. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa faktor return dan risiko dari pasar dalam negeri/domestik (pull factor) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aliran investasi asing di Bursa Efek Indonesia, sedangkan faktor return dan risiko dari pasar luar negeri/global (push factor) tidak berpengaruh. Hasil dari analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa dua dari empat hipotesis diterima. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa perilaku investor asing di Bursa Efek Indonesia lebih dipengaruhi oleh kondisi pasar domestik meliputi return pasar domestik dan risiko yang terdapat pada pasar domestik dibandingkan dengan kondisi yang terjadi di pasar global atau negara maju. Hal tersebut memberikan referensi bagi Pemerintah dan Bank Indonesia untuk dapat menjaga kestabilan perekonomian. Hasil penelitian mendukung konsep ARCH/ GARCH serta mendukung teori feedback trader untuk menganalisis perilaku investor asing. Hasil penelitian ini juga dapat dimanfaatkan oleh investor domestik untuk dapat menghindari berbagai dampak negatif dari pergerakan transaksi investor asing
